Incorporating Real-World Issues in Fiction with Author Kim Johnson  

 Join us for an afternoon with renowned author Kim Johnson. This interactive session focuses on integrating real-world social, political, and environmental issues into fiction. Discover methods for researching current and historical topics and weaving them seamlessly into your storyline. 

This event is hosted by the Office for the Arts and the Marydean Martin Writers' Project in partnership with the City of Henderson and the Henderson Reads Book Festival.

·         Please bring the writing materials of your choice. 

·         Author signing and light refreshments to follow. 

·         This event is free and open to the public. 

·         Parking at Nevada State University is free.
